It feels like spring and looks like spring pollen has arrived! Everyone seems ready to enjoy the beauty of this time of year, and the MCMGA Spring Plant Sale on March 24th will be here just in time. Volunteers are gearing up for the big sale and are looking forward to helping you make your selections for a beautiful spring garden. You don’t want to miss this sale!As you have come to expect, we will have many of your favorite flowers, trees, berries, plenty of citrus and avocados – just a tremendous variety of plants overall! As announced after the January Fruit and Nut tree sale, we are bringing back two of our best-selling avocado varieties that sold out quickly in January. The two varieties are the Joey and the Mexicola Grande.
We will also have hundreds of herbs, numerous vegetables, and don’t forget about succulents. Be sure to explore the selection of unique shapes, sizes, and beauty of the succulents we offer. You will want to leave room in your wagon for a few of these easy-care plants that are sure to brighten any space. As the spring sale is typically our largest, we anticipate a big turnout. With great weather and the enthusiasm springtime brings, we can make it the best sale yet! Tell your friends, neighbors, and family about the MCMGA Spring Plant Sale on March 24th.
Due to the limited number of wagons that we will have available, we urge you to bring your own wagon.
Stay tuned for additional email updates and reminders in coming weeks. The spring sale will be held at 9020 Airport Road in Conroe at the Texas AgriLife Extension office. The pre-sale program begins at 8 am and the sale will be from 9 am until 12:00 noon.
We appreciate your support of the MCMGA.
