Ever wonder what maintenance is required to grow fruit trees? How do you trim a peach tree versus a pear or apple tree? Fertilize? Michael Potter, the Montgomery County Horticulture Agent and Gary Tannahill (Master Gardener and Orchard Area Manager) will provide live demonstrations (weather permitting) of pruning practices for a variety of fruit trees. They will also discuss management strategies that will help you be successful.
Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. No pre-registration required. Class fee of $5 (for one class) payable at door – cash only please (exact change will be greatly appreciated). $8.00 for both classes on same Day.
