What are the primary pests impeding successful vegetable gardening? How does the gardener eliminate or discourage these pests from the vegetable garden? Are there diseases the gardener must examine vegetables regularly to impede or treat before the vegetable is ruined? Which diseases need the gardener to treat the soil or plant before or following planting of a specific vegetable? The “what, when, where and how” of dealing with the pests & diseases found to ruin our vegetables will be presented.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. No pre-registration necessary to attend. Class fee of $5 payable at door – cash only please (exact change will be greatly appreciated)
Refreshments provided: coffee, water and snack.
*Two programs are being offered on this day, September 9th – fee for one class is $5.00 and $7.00 if attending both.
