Fall Vegetable Gardening in Montgomery County. 9-11 a.m. Identifying best and numerous varieties will encompass this part of this program. Also includes the various methods for planting and growing vegetables. A program all gardeners will enjoy and new information to take home and incorporate in their own garden.
Pests and Diseases Affecting Vegetables. 1-3 p.m. The “what, when, where and how” of dealing with the pests & diseases found to ruin our vegetables will be presented. What are the primary pests impeding successful vegetable gardening? How does the gardener eliminate or discourage pests? What diseases do gardeners need to watch for? Come learn with us!
